The
Nifty opened in red in line with weak global indices and touched a low of 4,632
during the day. However, buying resurfaced at lower levels, which led the index
to end higher by 41 points, or 0.87%, at 4,733.85. On daily charts, for the
second consecutive day, it held above the previous session’s low, suggesting
pull back to continue in the near-term. Any move beyond 4, 740 would lead Nifty
to retrace up to 4,760 and 4,790. On the flipside, 4,690 and 4,640 could act as
the support for the day.
